Just thought I'd add that I based the addition of the resistor on that diagram on Fender's diagram of the 62 AVRI Jag as well as the actual wiring of all 3 of my Jags. One is an HH like Astrozombie's, none are vintage.

Yeah, one of us should probably drop Duncan a note letting them know their schematic has an oversight because it's one of those things where it won't even work close to right with that resistor omitted.

Crap, it's hard for me to read that type of diagram.

but anyway, I haven't swapped out the resistor... and I don't know if I will. When it's all on 10 (as it is 99 percent of the time) I can't tell the difference.
