  • Bridge Pickup Help

hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade the bridge pickup in my esp/ltd MH-50 (basswood body, rosewood fingerboard, Floyd rose, maple neck) I was wondering what would be better suited to me, alnico 5 or ceramic? here is my style.
I'm a huge fan of Dimebag Darrel (I know what your thinking....... DIMEBUCKER!!!) but I also like the sound of Dan Donegan of Disturbed (I believe he uses alnico 2 or 5) he has a real nice balance of highs, lows, and mids. I'm a metal guy and use drop tunings but will play most anything

    basically
    1. good harmonics
    2. balanced sound, not muddy in the lows and not shrill in the highs
    3. prefer passives over actives
    4. sustain

any suggestions are appreciated, can be a model in existence or guideline/specs to send to the custom shop. thanks in advance.
