  • 1-conductor '59 and SP3T. What am I missing?!

Help! I'm trying to wire a 1-conductor '59 (neck) and standard 4-conductor '59 (bridge) with 1 vol and 1 tone and for some reason this USA made guitar came with a SP3T on-on-on switch. I know the upper left and lower right lugs are unused, but can't seem to get this right! Been scouring but can't find a definitive answer. Should I just scrap the SP3T and use a typical toggle switch? I rewired my explorer that's got SD Hot rod humbuckers and even split one of them and it works fine! I must be missing something and it's been driving me nuts for too long! Any insight is very much appreciated.
