Gibson Burstbucker 3s with the blackout modular preamp.....

How do you guys think this would work out? Pups would be going in my EC1000 Silverburst.....looking for a modern yet not too modern metal tone....

Given my limited experience with either the pickups or the preamp... I feel like it would work quite well. It seems to me the character of the pickups would be complimented by the BMP.
