  • SSL-1 and Fender Tex Mex out of phase

I finally got me a SSL-1 to put into the neck of my Road Worn Strat and so far I love it. Now, I knew SDs and Fenders are made out of phase so I wired the SSL-1 with black to the pup selector and white to ground. But as it turns out the pickups are NOW out of phase. I know it's not really a problem - I just have to wire the SSL-1 like the Fenders are but I'd like to know if I missed something. Is is because that the middle Tex Mex being RP it's actually IN phase with a SD with stock wiring? Or do Tex Mex pickups actually have the same wind and polarity as the SSL-1? - because the 4th position, although out of phase, is still cancelling hum.

BTW, 1st post here and I'm so glad I've finally earned the right to join this great forum after finally owning something by Seymour.
