Those connections need to be a bit better than what I see. Surely, you must know someone with more experience soldering. It would be worth it to save that pickup. I put one of those in a buddies acoustic, and it sounds great.

There are 3 contact and 3 wires (black, white and black) just joined these 2 to test if it worked, I guess the other wire controls the volume
But the cables are connected to blossom
