Does Duncan use essentially the same A2, A5, etc... magnets for their pickups or are they charged differently for different models? I lost the original magnet for a pickup and I really preferred the original sound to the magnet that is in there now.

I know the antiquities are charged less than others. But as far as I know the rest, or at least the vast majority,are the same. What pickup are you using? -

Demon, I threw an A8 in there but it really doesn't work with that Les Paul and the music I am playing right now. Maybe in a strat or for a more aggressive style of music.Comment

can't remember ever reading anything about anything special about the A5 in the Demon. I'd throw a regular A5 in there and see how it goes. if you wanna get funky, you can experiment with a RCA5.Comment

It was more of a curiosity thing than anything else, I figured I would try an A2 and an A5 and compare the two.Comment
