  • Washburn WI-Pro - APH-2n/SH-PG1n/SH-PG1b on shelf - suggestions??

I've got a set of Pearly Gates and an APH-2n that need homes, so while initially going to install the set of Pearly gates I thought that I might get creative and put maybe the APH-2n in the bridge position with the Pearly neck.

Not looking for anything in particular other than some new tones to get creative with.

Any Duncans will sound better than what is already in there.

What music and amp are you playing?

I use a Carvin VM3, and just recently reacquired the Blues Jr I sold. It's not that I was disappointed with the Carvin, but I think what I was looking for was an EL-34 based amp, not another EL-84 amp.

Music wise I'm pretty eclectic and play what will pay!!! I typically use overdrive and distortion as seasoning and not the main course. I like my overdrive from the preamp and Tube Screamer, and use analog delay, chorus, wah, and a Metal Zone. The Metal Zone is more to provide convincing covers, and not something I go to when I want to write and do my own thing.
