Trem or Standard is no issue with rail pickups?

I'm assuming there would be no problem pole spacing issues with a rail pickup, am I correct? I'm thinking that instead of holding out for a Detonator or kooky Invader, I may want to just shoot for a Dimbucker or similar rail-based humbucker in my Hamer, but I'd need a Trembucker in the aforementioned pickup styles.

Just make sure the mounting ring's lined up,tho!!!
