Replacements for Epi Probuckers in Ultra 3?

I'm considering an SD sh1 to replace the Probucker 2 in my Epi Ultra 3 in neck position - would you say the SD is generally a higher gain, brighter pickup in that guitar? Also considering replacing the Probucker 3 in the bridge with a SD TB4 - again, would you say this would achieve a similar effect? Anyone else replaced the producers in an ultra 3, if so, with what? There are a lot if electronics in the Ultra's cavity. Male absolutely sure you or the one making the swap knows what he's doing.
