  • Cover for a hotrail

Hello everyone. I am writing the experts for advice on how to make my black hotrails pickup into a white hotrails pickup? I have it in a strat and the rest of the pickups and pickguard are white. I didn't think that I would be bothered by it but I was wrong. Also, I intend to put a push/ pull pot on the guitar so I can have a true sss if I want it. Should I use a 250 or 500k pot? My strat has the tbx tone control in it but I don't think it should be affected by this? Any help would be appreciated, Brent Baker

I turned my white hot rails into a black hot rails by cutting some regular pickup tape to fit the top of the bobbin and not cover the blades.

Dunno if that tape comes in white though.
