  • Is this fake/counterfeit

I bought these from ebay a while ago and just got around to using them. They were "new". The neck pickup, sh2n, has the wire coming out of what would be the the upper, left of the pickup (front view) and not the lower right like all others. Or did the label just get put on wrong?
    thanks

Congrats, you got a lefty neck pickup.

Seriously, that's whack. Looks like the baseplate is correct (stamped logo relation to the coil screws), but it's a bridge baseplate on a neck pickup.

As long as the wire reaches where it needs to go, use it.

...or you could put in the neck with the pole pieces closer to the bridge ala Peter Green if it doesn't reach.

That's how they're all done. They use the same baseplate and rotate it. There's no bridge and neck baseplate.
