  • Js100 coil split

Hi guys. I have an Ibanez js100 that I want to a jb into. The stock pups have different wiring to the jb so I can't figure out the wiring to use the tone control (push pull) to split it. Anyone have a diagram to explain it? Cheers guys

What year is your JS100? I can look up the diagram on Ibby's site, but having the year makes it much easier.

It looks to me like the red wire is the one you take to ground to split the pup.

Thanks, it's a white korean model 2003 I believe. Used to have stock axis pups I think. Any help is greatly appreciated

Great! No models appear for 2003 on Ibby's support site. Nonetheless, all JS100's appear to use the red wire to ground, for splitting. I'd go with that.
