Are you sure that's not the price per coil?

        Yep, I'm sure.

The bigger question is whether I just want the existing pickup rewound into a hotter version of itself for a moderate price, or if I want to spend another $55 to get essentially a whole new pickup made out of the existing one. Granted, $85 vs. $30 seems steep, but given I can end up with a $160 custom shop pickup for $85, it's pretty fair.

Just gotta figure out if, for me, it's worth the extra dough to transform this 59N altogether.

Since it is a SD you're sending in, knock $20 off the price of a rewind. http://customshop.seymourduncan.com/...kers-and-p90s/

So $65 for a CS pickup? Sounds like a good deal to me! I'm even considering it now.
