  • Synyster Gates Standard guitar and pickup types.

So I have a SYN STND and want to change my neck pickup.
I sold my Detonators and slapped in a Dimebucker in the bridge and currently have a cheap x5 artec neck pickup.
I'm looking to change my neck pup and found a few pickups I wanted to try.
The only problem for me is the spacing.
Some pickups come in f-spacing and g-spacing and has me stomped.
Currently have a floyd rose original and my locking nut width is 1-5/8" 1.37 spacing.

As far as I know, neck pickups (as in designed to be neck pickups) only come in standard spacing. f-spacing only applies to bridge pickups. Does that help?

Dimarzio makes a lot of neck pickups in F spacing. Ibanez guitars are using F spaced neck pickups now. Really depends on the width of the neck. The nice thing is that an F-Spaced pickup will always work in any position.
