Hey there, hoping to get some suggestions for pickups. I have an LTD MH350 that I primarily play through a Blackstar HT-5 head. Not really digging the EMG sound so I'm thinking of changing the pickups. Im looking for something that sounds thick but not muddy. Kind of looking for something that can do sounds like Hum or Smashing Pumpkins circa Siamese Dream. I also like me my sludge tone, thinking High on Fire, Black Tusk, Mastadon etc.
I really do not have a tremendous amount of experience with aftermarket pickups so any advice or recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

or try the 18 volt mod on your emg's
