  • Extrem wiring help needed on HSH setup

    Hi guys,

    seems to be the right forum to answer my question.

    My guitar is like this:

    Then I put in SH-2 and SH-4 with coil splitting each humbucker with it's own micro switch:

    I like to keep the possibilities as they are now, but do I have any chance to have additionally both humbuckers
    and all three pickups running, for example with a third micro switch?

    Looking forward to your answers

    When the 5-way is in the bridge/middle position, the switch will add the neck.

      With an on/off-on-on switch:

      1st : Nothing --> normal operation
      2nd: The pic above --> All three pups running
      3rd : The 2 HB's without the SC should run ...

      I guess, if the neck HB is running, the third position should add the bridge HB, also vice versa.
      I want to make sure we're on the same page. What I posted above does exactly that, however, you manipulate those modes with the 5-way. So, 5-way in bridge position will give you both HB'ers. 5-way in bridge/middle position will give all three. Switch "off" is normal operation.

      Now, if you want those three modes to override the 5-way, that's a whole 'nother animal.

        Thanks very much ArtieToo, I think I understood now. So a simple on/off switch does it all.
