I did a prs style build (mahogany body, maple top) and originally had a crunch lab/ liquifire lined up for it. While that sounded good, I wanted a higher gain pickup set and thought the crunch lab was a bit bland with the mahogany. The liquifire was nice but not exactly what I wanted. I tried a jb since I like it in so many other guitars and it was too muddy in that guitar. I was gonna do a mag swap when I found the distortion set on eBay for a great price. I immediately liked what they gave me. The neck is super sweet for fast leads and the bridge is crunchy and surprisingly articulate. It's not crunch lab articulate, but it's good for being that high output. I'm ask trying to tighten the low end some but I'm super happy with that set.
