Re: strat hotrails vs tele hotrails

there is a huge difference to my ears i own both. the strat hotrails is wound hotter in the 16K range and has more top end bite which can be a tad harsh and seems to have a tad less low end. the tele hotrails (one of my favorite duncans) is wound a little less hot in the 14K range and seems to be a bit warmer and full sounding with a little more low end and less of that sharp bite the strat hotrails has. the only other problem with compairing these two is that one is in a strat which has tons of routing in it having less wood mass and a tremlo the other is in a tele which is just a huge hunk of wood and string through. of the two as i mentioned the tele hotrails just sounds better to me by far.
