    I heard he not only uses these but prefers them to the 81 and 85?
    anyone here like these?

      Yes that is true............never used any of those PUPS. Although I love C.O.B!

          Damn that is an even better link!! Those guitars look awesome. I like Amotts Ninja too. You guys need to take a look at those Japanese guitars those are some crazy looking shapes!

            yea.. he's a sick **** ... no idea why he likes them so much cos there are SO many more pups that sound SO much better.. but it seems they work for him

            ****.. ESP makes me sick... they cant make something decent on their own if their life depended on it

              Wow, and I just read the Guitar World article 5 minutes ago about his sig guitar that has them in it and I was like "why the hell would he ever use those?" But hey, if it works, go for it...I guess this is the best example of "tone is subjective." You can't say that a particular pickup is "better" (although IMO there are tons of EMG's that do sound better!) because some may not like them.
