  • JB in a Pacifica

    Hi All,
I have recently bought a Yamaha Pacifica and I want to replace the crappy bridge humbuckers with some JB's.
It's a pretty trebblie sucker so will it give it a warmer sound?

    welcome blinky!

I am sure the sound will be much warmer.
The JB isn't that trebly, like some guys say, so: no problem.

It is a matter of taste too: what is the sound you' re after (which music do you play)?.
    Rock on!

    Bluesrock form the Netherlands!

        Thanks !
That's comforting to know about the JB's .I will get a new one put in when I get the money.
I play indie rock stuff ie Yo La Tengo/Mogwai.Those guys mainly play fenders and do the quiet/loud thing so I'm after something versitle.

          Re: JB in a Pacifica

A JB in a Pacifica will work right nice. For being inexpensive guitars, I find the necks to be quite comfy, tho -- much better than cheap Ibanez or Epiphones, to these hands
Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!
