Yes, though not very much -- on the assumption that both coils have roughly the same number of turns, which is the case with 99% of humbuckers.
However, this changes if you have the screws hiked up significantly above the surface of the bobbin. Which reminds me of a simple "mod", and adjustment really, that can tame a head-slicing bright bridge pickup: Just spin it 180 degrees in the cavity (screws facing neck) and raise the screws. That will beef up the lows and mids and bury the slice. Whether it will be enough will vary according to the pickup design and your tastes, but it will be a significant improvement.
