  • APH-1n, screw-coil wire colors?

I must have hooked up my neck pup bass-ackwards, because when I split the coils the slug-coil is active instead of the screw-coil. I know there is debate as to which coil should be active when split and since this pup is in a 24 fret guitar I want the screw-coil to be active when split so I can adjust the screws to dial in as sweet a tone as you're going to get in a neck-pup-24-fret set-up.

Here is how I wired it up if it helps.

APH-1n- red/white together to the split-coil switch, black to the top pin on the 3-way select/switch, green and ground to the back of vol pot.

Which wires need to be switched to activate the screw-coil when split?

    Thanks a lot!

Connect a wire from the neck pickups black lead (where it connects to the guitar) to the split-coil switch instead of a ground wire. Connecting the red/white wires to hot instead of ground will select the screw (south) coil.
