  • Vol/Tone pots for p-90's

What do you guys recommend for volume/tone mods for p-90's. For a hb the answer would be "500K pots with the 50's mod." But what about p-90s?

I personally prefer 500Ks for P90s. I had 250ks on my Godin but switched them out for the 500ks. To me your top end seems lacking and the pup doesn't pack as much of a punch as it does with the 500ks. My old Gibson has 500Ks and maybe since I'd had it for years I was just used to the tone. The 50's mod is a preference thing.

If you have a p90 mahogany slab guitar like me you will want the 500k pots. It will be just to muddy with a lower value.
