I replaced the '57 Classics in my Gibson CS '61 LP/SG Custom.
I don't have a problem per se with the '57 Classics, they work well - but the Seths are superior (of course).
I'm very familiar with the Seth set as I've had some guitar or another using them for prolly 2 decades.
Anyhoo, been having a lot of fun with these, so I noodled my brains out and grabbed select wanks to showcase these fine pups.
Doing the 80's tone here complete with Eventide.
Gear:
2008 Gibson Custom Shop '61 LP/SG Custom (2 pickup)
Catalinbread Naga Viper
(modded to) '68 50W Marshall plexi (slaved)
pre-Rola Celestion Greenbacks (iRs)
no EQ
touch of delay
touch of EMT140
