You're may think I'm a bit "touched", but if money isn't a concern, look for an old Gretsch White Falcon. Billy Duffy of the Cult and Billy Zoom of X both used them extensively for a time. If money IS a concern, I'd recommend a Tele. It's hard to beat for straight-forward tone. And it's hard to argue with Joe Strummer from the Clash (mainly 'cuz he's dead, also because he used one a lot).Comment
