How can I balance strings output ?
Im asking because in my guitar string E (thin) always sounds quiet comparing to others, and string G is always louder.
I have 3 singles in my 40th anniversary american standard. Can I add small magnet below E magnet in pickup to increase sound ?
Increase pickup height on unwound strings side and decrease on wound strings side doesnt help.

    Re: strings balance

    Some things to try -

    1. Adjust whole pup; higher on threble, lower on bass
    2. Thicker E string.
    3. Lower bridge saddle
    4. Get pup with adjustable poles (Perhaps an SD?!)
    5. Adjust playing technique - tough, but free!

I have no idea about the mag thing....sound pretty far out there, though.
