  • Trembucker confusion?

Does the SH-TB1 look the same as the PA-Tb1?
Cause I've bought a pickup that looks like an Original Parallel Axis Trembucker, but the box says SH-TB1. Maybe it's not the original box?
Seller says it's 15.7k and the '59 is 8.13k (bridge).
    This is confusing!

The TB refers to the spacing (spread between pole pieces). The Parallel Axis will not look like the SH-1, it won't have normal looking pole pieces. I'd say that's not the original box.

Is there a sticker on the back of the pickup?

I haven't got the pickup yet. There was a thread in the past by KlinkDetroit, and he thought that it could be a custom shop '59 in parallel axis design. He had the same question (maybe it's the same pickup). He said it didn't sound like his other PATb1.
Isn't there anyone who knows for sure?

It'll be hard to say until you see the pickup.

Looks like a PATB-1, has a DC Res. of 15.7K....IŽd guess its a PATB-1 until I see or hear more
