  • Duncan's version of the EMG 707?

Does anyone know what Duncan's passive version of the EMG 707 is? Oh and forget about it being a 7 string pickup, I'm just talking about the tone mainly. Dino Cazares from Fear Factory uses the 707 and I want his tone but in a passive pickup for my 6 string.

There's really no Duncan like that, it's a hybrid of an 81 and 85. Besides, Dino's tone is heavily processed, so I don't think it's necessary for his tone. I think an EMG 81 would work well. If you're set on passive, I'd say something hot, tight, and modern voiced like the Distortion or Dime.
