Re: Hot Rails Vs JB JR's.

My dilemma is a Melody Maker single coil (single-single) with a weak bridge pickup. The neck pickup is fine, but bridge pickup has to be cranked to get decent output, resulting in a noisy mess. Bridge pickup is already adjusted as close to the strings as possible, which doesn't help much. -Need more power, Scotty!

I'd venture to say the Hot/Vintage/Cool Rails combo is amazing! I have a set in my Lite Ash Strat. I don't have any experience with the JB Jr. at all, so I can't comment there. But I love my Hot Rails. Really helps drive your amp if your after that thick unruly tonal Armageddon. Absurd description? Yes! But I think it conveys the message well!
