Need help with Duality pickups...

Hey guys, I'm still working on installing a pair of Dualities in my Explorer. I finally got some sound out of them and then I noticed - with the toggle in the middle position - sound from either pickup still sounds when one volume is set at 0. I should be getting no sound with one volume on and the other volume off until I select either the bridge or neck pickup. I use the toggle to do some stutter effects.

Both pickups and volumes seem to work independently as they should.

I out of guesses as to what went wrong... I'm sure someone's run into this problem before. Any help is appreciated.

Did you maybe do the "50's wiring", wherein you swap the input/output lugs of the volume pots to make them independent? In other words, does the pup "hot" connect to the end, or center lug of the pot?
