Just got my BG1400 in from the custom shop complete with antiquity cosmetic treatment to match my guitar and it's a dirty one. Converting my fender road worn 50's tele to an esquire, the only other thing I need is the esquire neck with the U shape and then I'll be ready to get to work.

especially when the authors clearly wrote them to be metaphoric,
