I largely stay with CTS for pots, including pots with switches. But I have used Alpha versions when I couldn't find the right spec CTS.

Or are you trying to make one pot work independently for neck and bridge?

Yes, I want to push and switch to neck, push again and go back bridge, i have a switch but i dont like it i dont have the hand speed of Malmsteen/Blackmore to switch quickly, everytime i do it effects my timing, so volume knob that do it would be great.

That’s how George Lynch had his ESP‘s set up back in the day with neck single coils and bridge humbuckers. He used push-push pots. The only one I’ve been able to find is from Warmoth or allparts. There is no both together with this set up, it’s either neck pick up or bridge pick up.

He is my main influence, still, 34 years later after first hearing him. I dont really listen to him as much, but when I play i just kind go to his thing in a way, but I believe Kamikazes had push/pull not push/push - no ?

From what I have seen in live videos back in the day, they were Push Push. I could see him slapping the top of the guitar instead of actually grabbing and pulling up. I think his original LM snake and skulls also had push push from the factory.

Well, they i think it will be volume control for HB, and switcher between HB/Neck, and neck will have its own volume control, and a universal tone control .....

just about any PUSH-PUSH should work
some folks prefer large brand names like Bourns, etc

I don't think if will make much difference

Is it on the bridge pickup's volume?
                      is the bridge a humbucker?

you can run a humbucker and single off a single 500k pot with a 500k resistor in parallel to ground for the single

just wire the pickup selector to the terminals on the PP

i would be concerned about turning the pot when pushing it

maybe it should be on the Tone control instead

I love the IDEA of a push push, but....

I just feel that you would lose the "feel" of what the situation was, lose the visual cue, and that a push push will end up a slam/slam and need replaced / fail.

I wish they would make a better push/push switch. They last about a year.

                          Maybe an S1 switch?

                              I rarely change pickups

Just roll the volume up and down

                              To each his own
