  • Curved Dimarzio top

    Hi!
I bought from second hand Dimarzio Fred.
I noticed that top is curved.
    Is this normal?

The screws that mount the coils to the baseplate are too tight. I deformed a PAF Pro once when I swapped the magnet by doing that, but as soon as I loosened the screaws a bit, it came back to normal. Try that. If not, it means it's already warped. I mean, if it works, it works, and it's just an eyesore.

        Its plastic, it bends.
Part of the recipe for a PAF clone is the amount of flare that vintage bobbin plastic has
