  • Beefed Up Jazz Bridge for Strat?

Thinking of doing a Beefed Up Jazz bridge for my Strat build, any thoughts on this?
    Custom shop, said 3-weeks,not bad.
Just alittle more output/mids/bass in black, trembucker.
    Waiting on the specs.

Thanx, really clean with alittle bite to it!
Gonna put a regular jazz bridge in neck spot, try 250k or 500k pots to smooth it out.

I love 250's with my Jazz set. They very subtly soften the top end.

I wonder how a Slash 2.0 would be with an A5.

She does sound sweet. I basically just do pentatonic noodling to backing tracks. But I do have a few simple 4-part songs. Drum machine, bass, rhythm and lead.

A double thick mag will give you more output and bass. You could try UOA5 or A6 for a tad more mids without departing too far from the jazz voicing.

I was going to suggest sizing up the mag
                        A8 or Ceramic

Ok they said a 10% boost in DCR.
Wonder if will sound a little fuller in bridge position?

Yes, it would. A double thick mag also gives you a boost similar to about a 10 or 15% raise in the dcr. But it you want to spend $200 instead of a few bucks, then cool. :P

True, but they dont make Jazz bridge pickups in trembucker so thats custom order,on top of boost.
