  • TB-14 Custom 5 Trembucker For Charvel Model 5FX

Has anyone tried the TB-14 Custom 5 trembucker in their Charvel Model series?

Been reading up more on this bridge pickup for my Charvel model 5fx and also thinking at this point for the slant neck single coil slot that has either an EMG-SA or S in it now, going with a passive noiseless Seymour Duncan single coil but was told it cannot have the oval base plate and the wiring has to come out from the treble side of the single coil?

I don't have a Charvel, but I use the C5 in a guitar with a ton of mids. The scooped C5 makes it sound 'normal'.

In that it doesn't sound scooped in that particular guitar because the guitar has a ton of natural mids.

The C5 is such a great overall pup! One of my favs in just about ANY guitar (even a naturally scooped-sounding guitar...one with very little mids).
