  • Duncan Filtertron pick ups (size)

Quick question, just to get better clarification :
If i read this correctly, the Psyclone™ Humbucker is the same size as a 'regular' humbucker . . . is that correct ?
OR . . . is it like a TV Jones unit, that requires a special, 'smaller than humbucker' pick up ring, to mount the pick up correctly ?

    From the SD Site :

''The full-throated snap and twang of the classic Filter’Tron, in a direct-replacement humbucker size.''

Any info would be greatly appreciated !

Psyclones come in a couple versions.
First are the traditional Filtertron size pickups, which requite a specific mount system to use in a humbucker size rout. Those come in 2 versions, vintage and hot.
Then there are the Filtertrons that are humbucker size. They only come in one version that is specific to them and fit a normal mount ring and are 4 conductors.
