Hi Folks,
I recently bought one of those Steinberger basses (4 string) for plunking around when I travel. Being used to a P-bass sound, the thing sounds hideous and I'd like to try to get a more traditional sound by using flats and changing out the pickups.
My Question: Does S.D. (or anyone else) offer a replacement for the stock EMG select humbuckers that don't require routing? I may consider going active since there is a fair amount of room in the cavity. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joel
