  • Please Help Identify Pickup - Photo/Ohms Provided

    Hi-

I've got a single position hum-canceling Seymour Duncan from the bridge position of a G&L Legacy. There's a sticker on it that says 1NC (I've seen elsewhere in this forum that this might just be initials of person who made/tested it?).

Individual pole pieces, 4 wires (red/white tied together, black & green free), says Seymour Duncan on it.

When I measure DC resistance on black/green wires, I get almost exactly 10.0Kohm.

I've posted a photo at http://students.washington.edu/silverst/pickup.jpg if that helps anyone.

    Thanks in advance!

Most likely a Lil "59" neck position. Could possibly be a JB jr. but according spec they are a little lower resistance than the "59".

I'd say it's a JB Jr. neck/middle position. That's going by the chart on the Duncan site.

Is it unreasonable to think that someone might have had this pickup in the bridge position?

no, alot of people use the "LiL' series neck position pickups in the bridge, mostly because it usually balances better w/ lower output single coils.
