  • FS: Brian May in a box (germanium content)

Scott Humphrey's/Snake River Guitarworks Vitamin G Booster with AC188 germanium transistor. Essentially, a more versatile version of Scott's legendary Crispy Cream booster pedal - dual boost mode, boost volume (level) and tone controls.

Fully functional, but worn graphic on top (great sounding pedals get played!). No DC jack, but 9V battery lasts for months on end.

$100 + actual shipping ($199 new when Scott was building 'em).

Scott built in a socket in this model so that other PNP transistors can easily be subbed in for those who like to tweak. Grapevine says that the military PNP version of the OC140 is supposed to sound quite good in these - more balanced EQ and a bit smoother. Never tried one myself as I liked the bark, snarl and punch of the pedal as is.

Bumping up a great boost that would work perfect for a Vox, non-master volume Marshall, tweed Fender or any amp "stuck in the mud". Vintage tones on hand!
