Boss DS-1 with Monte Allums Recto Mod. I've tried several DS-1 mods, and this is my favorite. It's still a distortion, with a smooth compressed sound, and doesn't try to be a Marshall in a box. However, the Recto mod fixes everything people don't like about the DS-1's fizzy EQ curve.
