  • Pickup Swap

I have a matching set of DiMarzio 36th Anniversary pickups (zebra) that are direct mount only. Ie, the holes are stripped and won't hold screws. I'm looking to get into a set of covered pickups for my Carvin. I'd love a similar set of DiMarzio 36th in nickel, or Gibson pups. Anyone out there interested in a swap? I'd sell as well... Thanks!

    Re: Pickup Swap

You could always superglue the right sizes nut to the bottom to thread thru.
I have a set of gibby 490r/498t that i switched the magnets in
    A5 from 498t to 490r/ A2 from 490r to 498t
    Attached Files
6 pieces of wood with wires
1 big box with a bunch of little glass bottles & 2 big round black things
1 little red & white & black box with 2 little glass bottles that sits on
a wood box with 2 big round black things.
1 little black box with 2 slightly bigger black boxes under it.

Yeah, I have nuts on them now and they hold ok, but I'm looking for a clean chrome/nickel look. Are you interested in trading?

You could get a 4/40 tap and put some threads in those holes.
