  • FS: Randall RM50 Head w/modules, Zoom G3, Ebtech Line Level Shifter, Hardwire Chorus

Lots o' stuff to clean out, so let's get started....

Randall RM50H 50W Head with Clean (Fender Twin) and XTC (Bogner Ecstacy) stock modules, everything in great shape, 1 small nick in the tolex, but not to the wood so I can't even take a picture of it. I also built a custom pedal for it, one switch is to switch channels, the other is for the Master Volume Boost (you'll need to supply 2 guitar cables, but they don't need to be great quality since it's just for switching, not carrying signal). If you don't know about it, the Boost is kinda weird, but very useful after you figure it out. Basically, you set your volume on the regular master volume first, then click on the boost and use the pot on the footswitch to set the amount of boost. Word of warning, if you set the volume low to bedroom levels and have the boost pot turned up and hit the switch, you will wake everyone in the house, so always start with the boost at 0 and adjust up after your main level is set. Has a reverb tank in the parallel effects loop, very cool, you can just unplug the tank and use the parallel loop if you prefer but nice to have the option. Also, it has JJ 6V6's in it for ~30W (biased at 22mV), I also have an almost new pair of EL34s and a pair of 6L6s I'll include as well as a print out of the manual so you can get the bias settings for the different tubes. Looking for $525 PP'd and shipped, I'll entertain reasonable offers.

*SOLD* Next up is a Zoom G3 Amp Modeler and Multi-Effects. I never really used the amp models, just used it as effects, which are very good. The amps are supposed to be good too, but I really didn't use them enough to say. It is updated to version 2.1 so you can string 6 effects together instead of just 3, and you can page left and right by hitting the 2 right switches simultaneously, or the 2 left. Cool box, does have USB out as well as XLR out in addition headphone out and normal mono/stereo outs. Also has an expression pedal jack, and I'll throw in a like new M-Audio Expression pedal. *SOLD*

I also have an Ebtech Line Level Shifter that I no longer need. It shifts line level signals to instrument level and vice versa. The G3 runs at instrument level, the RM50's effects loop is line level, so it's too hot. So, you use one of these. It will also let you run your instrument level Boss, Ibanez, etc... effects in line level effects loops. Great to have around for amps that don't have adjustable levels on their loops. These are around $80 new, this one has only been used at home and a few times in church, $59 PP'd and shipped in original packaging.

Last in this one, like new Digitech Hardwire Chorus, I bought it as a demo, and it somehow got damaged, so I sent it to Digitech for repair and it has a whole new PCB in it. Yes, it is a digital chorus, but it is one of the best sounding choruses I have heard. It also has tons of headroom and can run at line levels. It was between this and my Digitech CF-7 pedal, and I mostly use a flanger setting on the CF-7, so I'm keeping it on my board. For chorus, the Hardwire actually sounds better and has more headroom. Killer deal on basically a new pedal, $59 shipped and PP'd.

Shipping is included for shipping in the lower 48 US, others can contact me.

PM me for details, I can give lots of references if necessary...

    Stay tuned, more to come...
