Long story short my dad recently had to sell off his pedalboard, strat and his 12 string to pay bills and I'd like to do something nice for him since he's had a tough year. I'm looking for a strat body or neck. Color does not really matter as I'd refinish it. I'd prefer it have HSS routing. I have a couple things I could trade for either a body or neck.
I've got what I suspect to be ash or pine tele body. Don't know enough to know for sure. 1.5" thick is 4 pieces but needs neck holes filled and redrilled. They are drilled too low for a standard fender neck. Would come with a black one ply pickguard and stock ceramic pups and the stock bridge and some other misc stuff. It's a top loader and not string through body.
Also have a set of MIM neck and middle pickups. Not worth much but figure could sweeten a potential deal. Would sell outright for $15 shipped.
Possibly for trade only also is a set of duncan designed lipstick tube pickups with the pots and switch wired up still. Serious quack in the notch positions! Although the neck pickup is really where it shines IMHO.
I could also trade a set of custom wound humbuckers, strat pickups or tele pickups that I would wind myself. I could show some pictures and possibly some recordings of some pickups I've wound.
