  • Looking for: mid-80's SSL-1s & and an SSL-5

As mentioned in this thread, I'm looking for one or two SSL-1s and a 5, hopefully from the mid '80s.

Cash or trade, hit me up...

I have an SSL5 and maybe a 1 knockin' around as well. How can I tell if they are from the 80's? ( other than hanging out at the mall and wearing stone washed jeans) 8"s of lead wire and 12" of ground wire.

Triangular baseplate, with SD then month and year stamped into it. Possibly a small sticker denoting model.

For instance, the two I have incoming have stickers on them that say 1R (reversewound?) and 1J (wound by MJ herself).

Which means I'm halfway to what I need. *boogie*

Sent from my iPad using a bunch of electrons, copper, and probably some fiber optic cable
