I am 99% sure you can still order these from DiMarzio. I know that used to be the case because I ordered a couple at least two years after it was officially discontinued. Try that and if they say no, I may have an extra.

I just shot them an email. Thanks!

Dimarzio replied saying they don't make them. They recommended the 36th.

          The 36th!

          Ugh, my heart weeps.

What specs do you want/need? (F spaced, COvered, etc)

It's for a Les Paul. Standard spacing. Either nickel covered or black/cream.

              Is the 36th that bad?

It is to me because it replaced three pickups I rather liked, the original PAF, the VPAF, and the VHPAF. I tried the 36th, but I don't know what Larry was thinking. You should see the hate thread on the DiMarzio forum over it.

Are you sure this is the pickup you want? Have you tried one?

I haven't tried it, but a few people have recommended it. Specifically, a forum user named DarthPhineas

Darth knows what he is talking about. The VHPAF is like a 10k pickup, and the 36th is supposed to be a "vintage PAF", but it replaces a 10k pickup? The 36th sounds like it has a blanket over it.

Both the PAF Master and the PAF '59 are much better pickups than the 36th if you are looking for vintage sounding PAF from DiMarzio

I think I have a covered one in the drawer. $100 shipped to 48 if you want it.
