  • W.t.t. Lil 59 Tele pickup for single coil

    I bought a Li’l 59 stacked single coil and it jams but a little too much for what I need. Wanting to trade for single coil of similar value. Let me know what ya got to trade. Here’s a picture it’s in the bridge .ThanksClick image for larger version

    Probably not what you need/want but I have a stock MIM Tele single coil. It’s still installed in my Tele but easy enough to remove. Not sure what the DCR is on it.

      Thanks for the offer but looking for a quarter pounder or a 54 maybe. Dimarzio or Adder pickup would be cool too

        That's a single coil-sized humbucker, not a stacked single coil.

            You may try wiring it in parallel or splitting it before you trade it away...it might be a sound that works for you.

                See it? Like the diagram? We should have that diagram on our site. For parallel, black & red become the hot wires (going to the switch), while white and green become the ground.

                  Awesome thanks just have to pick up a push pull switch. Will 500k pots be ok to use

                    You can use 500k pots...but you can also just wire the Little 59 in parallel without a push pull just to see if you like it.

                      If I wire it like the diagram what does the push pull do? Is it just a volume boost or is that how you split the pickup to make it single coil?
