  • WTB: Old Gibson Les Paul Parts ('70's-'80's)

    Hello,

I need a few parts to finish the restoration of my '83 Black Beauty:

    1. Pair of black pickup rings with original mounting screws. The rings of this era were shorter than what is used today. An M8 and an I3 ring are what I believe I need.

    2. Period-correct pickup height screws. Gold Philips screws.

    3. Period-correct pickguard mounting screws and bracket.

    4. Holddown screw for original electronics cover.

    5. Period-correct gold switch (long shaft).

    6. Chainsaw case, 2nd generation with red lining.

    Thank you.

I'm just tracking down a few missing original odds and ends for an '83 Les Paul Custom. I'm doing a totally stock restoration, and then probably selling it. I've had it since 2001, and I love it, but I'd rather sell it and use the money to buy an R4 Custom or a 1972 '54 reissue Custom.

Bump. I found the pickguard, but I still need the pickguard hardware (two screws and bracket), and everything else on the list.
