Vintage 1989 Kramer 2 Piece Center Seam Ash Floyd Body in Transparent Red Finish - Made In Japan MIJ same as the "American Series" Kramer Pacers. Only difference is that the Pacer had a Cannon Jack where the Focus has a Jack Plate. I've had number of old Kramers and I can say that this body is one of the nicest Kramer Bodies I have seen of ANY series, American or Focus.
Routed for two direct mount single coils, one slanted humbucker and a Recessed Floyd Rose Original tremolo. Includes Original Electronics with Knobs as shown - Volume/Tone/Tone/5 Way Switch/Blower Switch along with Original Wood Screw Floyd Posts & Control Cavity Cover. The Control Cavity is Carbon Shield Painted with Copper Shielded Cover. Electronics are as you see, missing a tone capacitor but includes a treble bleed circuit. It was originally wired for 1 volume, 2 tone controls and a bridge coil tap mini-switch.
The Body is Swamp Ash (4 1/2 lbs.), which is pretty RARE wood for a Vintage Kramer, with a beautiful transparent red gloss finish and a beautiful grain pattern. It has a standard 2 3/16 Fender Stratocaster neck pocket and will fit Kramer, Warmoth, USACG, Musikraft, Allparts, Mighty Mite, and, various other necks that are 25 1/5 inch scale.
In overall good shape, but as you would expect with a vintage 29 year old body, it has some edge dings, scuffs and one indentation to left of the humbucker which isn't showing up in pictures. Most importantly though, the Floyd Rose bridge posts are solid with no lean or collapse.
Just a real nice body at a great price - $135.00 plus $15.00 shipping in Continental US with Payment via PayPal Friends & Family or add 3.5% for PayPal Goods & Services Payment. I also have an Kramer "A" Serial Neck Plate that I'll offer to the buyer for an addl $25.00.
