FS: THD 8ohm Hot Plate

I have a THD 8 ohm Hot Plate I'm trying to sell. It has only been used 4 times and is in great shape. I bought it because I was told that it would help with a volume problem. I mostly play smaller venues where volume is a concern. The Hot Plate did not help my problem. It did allow more tube saturation, hence more overdrive, at lower volumes but did not acheive my volume objective.

what exactly was your "volume objective"?

The amp I play (a Carvin Legacy 2x12 combo) is a LOUD amp, even on half power. As I mentioned, I play mostly smaller venues. Even on 1, my amp is too loud for most places I play. I was told that with a Hot Plate that it woud give me more control over my volume levels. What it actullay did was to give me a more overdriven sound at the same volume. Needless to say it didn't help my situation much. So, now I am trying to sell it. Are you interested?
